About this project
Astounding Designs designed and developed DumpsterListings.com, a custom nationwide dumpster rental directory built on WordPress with custom JavaScript, AI integration, and Stripe payment processing. The platform connects homeowners, contractors, and businesses with local dumpster rental providers while giving the client a central system to manage listings, memberships, subscriptions, and advertising.
Spanning all 50 states, the directory allows visitors to search by city, ZIP code or state and explore providers for cleanouts, renovations, construction and other projects. Detailed business profiles showcase container sizes, service areas, rental information, and direct contact options, while verified listings, membership badges, and featured placements help participating businesses stand out.
Custom user dashboards give business owners access to their profiles, membership plans, subscriptions, and advertising options. A dedicated admin dashboard simplifies oversight of business listings, verification requests, membership levels, advertising placements, and directory content.
Stripe integration supports secure checkout, recurring membership payments, subscription billing, and advertising purchases. Automated billing and renewals reduce manual payment tracking while supporting ongoing revenue from premium listings and paid advertising. Custom advertising placements throughout the directory allow businesses to reach visitors as they search and compare providers, giving the client multiple ways to generate revenue as the directory grows.
AI integration and automatic updates reduce repetitive work and help keep the platform current. By combining WordPress with custom development and automation, Astounding Designs created a large directory website designed to save the client time and money, simplify ongoing management, and reduce future maintenance headaches. Bold navy and orange branding, clear navigation, and prominent search tools bring the platform together in an approachable experience for visitors, business owners, advertisers, and administrators.
